Directions

Recommended Dose: Adults: 1 Capsule 1 time per day

Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Take once a day, at or before bedtime.

• Avoid direct light
• Store away from children
• Store in a cool dry place

Duration of Use:
For use beyond 4 weeks, consult a health care practitioner.

Cautions and Warnings:

• Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
• Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia).
• If you are taking prescription medications, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
• If you have one of the following conditions, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: asthma, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycaemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraine, or seizure disorders.
• Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative and/or analgesic properties is not recommended.
• If you are taking one of the following medications, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure medications, immunosuppressive medications, sedative, hypnotic, or psychotropic medications, or steroids.

Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Known Adverse Reactions:

• Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.
• Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, or cramping) have been known to occur in which case, discontinue use.
  Some people may experience diarrhoea.
• Rare allergic reactions have been known to occur in which case, discontinue use.
